Elizabeth Merfeld developed a love for both art and the outdoors at an early age. This led first to a bachelor's degree in biology from Colorado State University, then to a degree in photography from the Art Institute of Denver. She spends much of her time in the outdoors around Colorado, Utah and Wyoming camping, hiking, fishing, snowshoeing, and of course, photographing. Although Elizabeth's forte is in outdoor/fine art photography, she also does freelance photography. Clients include The Westword and Black Shirt Brewing Company. Her work is currently on display at the Brookwood Gallery in Westcliffe, CO.
